– Dual Bachelor of Science (BS)

Students learn how to buy, sell, and produce agricultural goods – effectively preparing them to start or manage businesses or build a career in government or the non-profit sector. Participants take courses in business administration and applied economics and focus on issues affecting land, people, food, water, and capital. Perfect for those passionate about selling agricultural products, this dual degree program also offers guidance on how to cultivate foods and fibers.

Cyber Operations
– Dual Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS)

The program in Cyber Operations from Arizona and UoM offers hands-on training within a state-of-the-art Cyber Virtual Learning Environment. Students in Mauritius follow the Defense and Forensics track, which includes courses in Cyber Investigations & Forensics, Malware Threats & Analysis, and Cyber Warfare. The United States National Security Agency designates Arizona's Cyber Operations program as a Center of Academic Excellence, making it part of an exclusive group of only 20 Cyber Operations programs in the U.S.

Electrical and Computer Engineering
– Dual Bachelor of Science (BS)

The Electrical and Computer Engineering program focuses on integrating emerging and existing systems to create new products for faster computing, better healthcare, and efficient energy systems. Through this program, electrical fields such as Signal Processing, Telecommunications, and Electromagnetics/Optics merge with computer fields such as Software Design, Computer Chips, and Robotic Systems.

Systems Engineering
– Dual Bachelor of Science (BS)

Systems Engineering students learn to design large, complex systems using not only imagination and technical skill, but also using rigorous attention to design and interactions among system components, other systems, and society. Academic focus areas include: System Integration, Modeling & Analysis, Probability & Statistics, System Theory, and Decision Analysis & Simulation.

CAMPUS

UoM is the top-ranking and largest university in Mauritius for student enrollment and degree programs. The main campus in Réduit features modern facilities and lush grounds not far from the stunning capital city of Port Louis. Arizona students enjoy access to modern classrooms in the Ebene Cyber City, a hub of information technology for African and Asian markets – just a short walk from the main campus. Weekend trips include visits to some of the world’s finest beaches in this tropical oasis of the Indian Ocean.

The University of Mauritius does not have dedicated student residences. The University of Arizona at University of Mauritius recommends a private student residence located in the west coast village of Flic en Flac. Options include shared apartments or single occupancy apartments. Nearby amenities include a beautiful public beach, a mall, gym, and many eateries that include western and local cuisine. We recommend starting the housing process as soon as possible.

FLEXIBLE STUDY OPTIONS

Dual degree students may earn bachelor’s degrees in Cyber Operations, Agribusiness Economics and Management, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Systems Engineering from Arizona and UoM in only four years and entirely in Mauritius – or they may choose to study at the University of Arizona campus in Tucson, USA, for a portion of their degree program.

Students who haven’t decided their major – or who want to pursue a degree other than those currently offered – may start the first portion of their bachelor’s degree at the University of Mauritius, and then complete a degree of their choosing at the University of Arizona campus in Tucson. Close to California and the Grand Canyon, Tucson blends the beauty of the Sonoran Desert with a rich culture of live music, exceptional dining, and outdoor adventure.
